Nobody photographs the middle.
The world sees the moment. You are living the accumulation.
From Situation 6 of No One Is Coming, “Respect the Long Gestation.”
The Olympian’s medal is one moment. The years of monotony, sacrifice and repeated failure behind it are invisible. Your business is built the same way: slow, repetitive, unremarkable from the outside. Then one day the result appears and everyone assumes it was sudden.
If you are in the long middle right now, reset your timeline, track the inputs you control, and stop comparing your year three to someone else’s year ten.
What are you quietly building that the world has not seen yet?
Capt. Shaji Kumar
